Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy covers the websites and web apps QuickLab runs on quicklab.dev and its subdomains (word-sprout.quicklab.dev, neon-claw.quicklab.dev and others). For mobile apps released in app stores, please also see the privacy policy on each store page.

2. What we do not collect

QuickLab has no sign-up and our apps never ask for names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses. When you email us, we use what you send only to reply and delete it once your request is handled.

3. What each app stores

Word Sprout: word books, study history and settings are stored only on your device (browser storage). Photos of word lists are read on the device and deleted; they are never sent to a server.

K-Claw Machine: to play together, the app exchanges an automatically chosen nickname number, your character’s position and preset speech-bubble numbers in real time. The coin wallet is identified only by a random key the server creates and is not linked to personal information. Settings and collected plush records stay in browser storage. There is no free chat.

4. Advertising and cookies (Google AdSense)

QuickLab websites may show Google AdSense ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com), and opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies at www.aboutads.info.

5. Children’s privacy

Word Sprout is made for primary-school children and their parents. Its ad requests are tagged for child-directed treatment so only non-personalized ads are requested, and ads are offered only after the day’s free games are used up and the child taps the button.

QuickLab does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child’s information was sent to us, email us and we will delete it right away.

6. Retention and deletion

Information stored on your device can be removed at any time by clearing the app data or the site data in your browser. To delete a K-Claw Machine coin wallet or hall-of-fame record, email us.
